Holiday Park at McCord AF Base - May '02

This is a campground on the McCord Air Force Base located just south of Tacoma. It's in the back of the base and
is fairly isolated, but it tends to be mostly RVs. There is a seperate tent site area which provides more privacy.
There was a fire ban in effect when we were there. It just doesn't feel like camping if you don't have a campfire going.
Although the restrooms and showers were the best we've ever seen (clean, HOT water, free), we won't return unless we're traveling.
It's not a campground for "fun" camping. It's more like a retirement RV park. There's no reservations available.
